Abstract

In modern conditions, Kazakhstan, introducing new methods of improving the system of higher education on the example of the best international practices, has carried out a qualitative modernization.

 The article analyzes the gradual modernization of Kazakhstan's educational policy in the context of legislative and legal frameworks and describes a brief discourse on higher education reforms. The main trends in the development of higher education in the context of globalization and digitalization, characterized by changes in the educational process in a rapidly changing world, are considered.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a global impact on the reformatting of higher education concepts around the world. In this context, new trends have emerged in Kazakhstan in the field of higher education with the introduction of digital technologies, which influenced the methodological organization of educational processes and the updating of legislative policy in this complex system of human capital development, competitiveness, and quality education for the sustainable development of our economy.

In the course of the study, the authors identified the main trends and problems in the field of higher education policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in modern conditions.
