The article examines in detail the linguocultural and ethnolinguistic features of color names in Kazakh and Turkish proverbs and sayings. The new ideas and opinions of famous Turkish scientists Ibrahim Shinasi, Omer Asym Aksoy, Omer Faruk akun and prominent Kazakh scientists Muzafar Alimbayev, Abduali Kaidar, Alkei Margulan will be analyzed. The differences and features of Proverbs and sayings are analyzed, and the cultural meaning of species and colors is revealed. The role and significance of colors in society in Kazakh and Turkish culture, folk Worldview are studied. The main purpose of the article is to study how color and shade are important in the culture of the Kazakh and Turkish peoples, analyzing the features of the transmission of color names in Turkish and Kazakh Proverbs. Based on Proverbs and sayings in the Kazakh and Turkish languages, lexemes containing color names are analyzed and their place in culture is assessed. Considering these lexemes from the point of view of the value of emotions, an attempt was made to determine the manifestation of colors in the world of thought of the Kazakh and Turkish peoples. In addition, the relationship and semantic field of color names are studied. Thus, the views of the Kazakh and Turkish peoples regarding the concept of color are analyzed in comparison.
