Abstract

The article deals with the key events of the first stage of spiritual modernization, such as the first
presidential elections, which were the starting point of citizens ‘ interest in the political life of the country and
the formation of the political culture of society. The peculiarity of the second stage is that the Law on Elections
was amended and political reforms in the society began. And the premature implementation of the Strategy “Kazakhstan-2030” has set new goals and plans for the state. The strategy “Kazakhstan-2050” states that the new
political course of the established state, the goals set by the state impose obligations and responsibilities on every
citizen in society. Analyzing the dynamic development of the country, the potential of social networks and information
technologies as a brand of new trends in political technology, shows that the role of spiritual renewal in the formation
and development of the political culture of the country is of great importance, as one of the ways to solve this problem
is to promote political development. In conclusion, the authors suggest that by increasing the political literacy of the
population, studying social and political disciplines can contribute to the modernization of political consciousness
and political culture of society.
