The features of integration initiatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan in ensuring regional security

Abstract

The article considers regional aspects of ensuring security in Central Asia region. The article analyzes the security of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Central Asia. The article studies tendencies in multidirectional aspirations of external players, elements of cooperation, and rivalry between them. The article also considers some security threats, in particular, the impact of the current situation in Afghanistan in connection with the seizure of power by the Taliban. Understanding the specifics of the regional political environment of Central Asia is necessary, first of all, for the states of the region themselves, to take constructive actions to maintain the stability of the region, by creating mechanisms for coordinating collective decisions, deepening mutual cooperation in practical terms, finding compromise solutions to resolve existing disputes and disagreements in order to ensure a more effective implementation of their national interests.
