Household names on the monument of “Diwani lugat-it-Turk”

Abstract

Lexicological research is important in linguistics. In particular, the study of household names allows a
comprehensive study of life, being, worldview, traditions, customs, spiritual culture of the people.
In the XI century on the monument of Mahmut Kashkari “Diwani lugat-it-Turk”, collected on the basis of materials of dialects of Turkic languages and Turkic tribes of that time, household names are widely presented. At the same
time, it was said in which tribes the household name is used among the Turkic peoples.
In this article on the monument “Diwani lugat-it-Turk” were collected the names of the equipment used in everyday life. The collected materials were compared with the names of equipment in the modern Kazakh language. Many
of the names of the monument were recorded in the form that in the modern Kazakh language have been preserved
or subjected to phonetic changes. The greatest number of collected materials was shown that last year the asset was
used in the Kazakh language. It was told that some words were kept in the dialects.
