Issues of preservation of historical and cultural heritage objects in Kazakhstan

Abstract

«The Kazakh land is a laboratory not only of the Kazakh people, but also of the whole Turkic world».
The core of the Turkic world is preserved on the Kazakh land. Today, one of the main goals of the Kazakh society in
the field of culture is the spiritual renewal through the effective preservation and active use of historical and cultural
heritage. In this regard, the article considers the history of preservation of monuments, as well as the first regulatory
legal acts aimed at their preservation and protection. In addition, the monuments of historical and cultural heritage
included in the world heritage list and their general situation were considered and current issues were identified.
The international and national legislation regulating preservation of historical and cultural heritage monuments is
analysed and information on the taken measures in this direction is given.
