Non-conventional weapon in Israel: causes and effects

Abstract

This scientific article is devoted to the analysis of the nuclear arsenal of Israel, as well as the detailed
study of the causes that guide Tel Aviv in its quest to possess nuclear weapons. The relevance of this article lies in the
fact that until today Israel has not confirmed, but also did not deny about its possession of nuclear weapons. Also, Israel has not signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, and its atomic reactors are not controlled
by the IAEA. This article will allow a more detailed study of the situation in the Middle East to determine the factors affecting the development of Israel’s nuclear program. Also, the article identifies the possible consequences of nuclear
build-up by Israel. In addition, general assessment of the threat of using nuclear weapons is given.
