Abstract

Worldscientists pay special attention to the nature of the myth, which originates from the worldview of the ancientsthanks to its independent function, structural structure, content,and characteristics of human thinking. The methodology and theory of the study of myth are studied in various aspects from the point of view of scientific achievements in anthropology, sociology, folklore,and psychology. This is based on the data of peoples and tribes who have preserved an ancient culture on earth, as well as examples of myths written on paper since ancient times. In addition, the field in which the myth is reflected -epics, legends, fairy tales, rituals, along with folklore, is a large field. In this case, it is worth talking not only about the myth itself, but also about the change in its genre. This is due to the fact that the myth in folklore has changed in the context of the time, has undergone ideological processing, adapted to the specifics of the genreforexample,theepic. This pattern applies both to the myth and to the mythical characters of the epic songs of the Turkic peoples. In fact, the epic is a genre that independently developed through the synthetic filter of ancient myths, fairy tales, legends, ritual folklore. His mythical motives, concepts, characters are adapted to the genre nature of the epic.
