Abstract

The article examines the issues of strengthening the participation of women in the socio-political life of the country. In the context of the ongoing modernization of 3.0, it becomes important for Kazakhstan to study the international experience of increasing the participation of women in political life. Thus, the article presents the main mechanisms for the active inclusion of women in the processes of making and influencing political decisions by in-creasing their representation in the state and non-governmental sectors. To date, there are 3 approaches to increasing women’s participation in politics. Namely, through the reform of the electoral system, the stimulation of parties and the support of women’s participation through the activities of NGOs. All these measures have their own distinctive features depending on the country, however, the mechanisms presented effectively contribute to strengthening the representation of women in the socio-political life of the country.
