Abstract

The article is devoted to the actual problem of scientific and technical development in the countries
of the Islamic world. The task of the study is to consider measures to develop the scientific and technical sphere using
the example of Muslim countries. The goal is to study modern strategies of Muslim countries in the field of innovation
and science development. The research is focused on the results and decisions of the first summit of the Organization
of Islamic Cooperation on Science and Technology, which was held in Astana from September 10 to September 11,
2017.
In studying this work we used general scientific methods such as the historical comparative method, a method
of logical analysis, a retrospective method, as well as specific scientific methods that allow us to trace the process of
developing the scientific and technical field in Islamic countries. Based on the analysis of the three strategies of the
countries of the Arab East, Turkey and Iran, the main goals for the innovative way of development of the countries of
the Muslim world and the methods for their implementation were identified and studied.
