Abstract

The article is devoted to the reflection of the similarity of national games in the Kazakh and
Korean peoples and the degree of national games in the two states. We all know about negative impact of the globalization process on national culture. In this regard, the only way to form a national spirit
is to popularize our values, including national games among young people. For this reason, this article
highlights the role of the national game in educating young people and the importance of modernizing
national games.
These games, dating back to our ancestors, are the driving force not only for the improvement of
the body, but also for the comprehensive development of young people, instilling in them such positive
qualities as morality, intelligence, competitiveness, responsibility, respect and dignity. In order to compare
and determine the similarity of the national games of the Kazakh and Korean peoples, not only a historical
review was conducted, but also similarities and differences between Kazakh combat and shirym wrestling,
the game of assik and the game of bisokchigi, archery and hualsogi were revealed. The ways of popularizing
the value of national games among young people are considered.
