The level of scientific research and the possibilities of political communication in Kazakhstan

Abstract

This scientific article analyzes the origin of the concept of communication and the level of theoretical and methodological research of political communication in foreign political science. In the scientific article, the author focuses on the level of research of political communication in domestic political science. The use of political communication in the information policy of Kazakhstan and the process of mutual exchange of information between the state and society are clearly analyzed. It is determined that the concept of political communication is used in political power and in the context of interaction with society. The connection of political communication with the concept of elections is illustrated by specific examples of its practical application. Clear information is given about the current changes in the information policy of Kazakhstan and the role of political actors contributing to the stability of the political system. The article describes the relevance of technologies that have led to the establishment of interaction between government and society, even in the current global pandemic.

The influence of democratic principles and political modernization in Kazakhstan on political communication is analyzed. In the study, the author makes suggestions to increase the potential of political communication in the country. The prevalence of social networks in the country today and their political aspects are considered and analyzed. The article proves that social networks are still not available in some regions of the country. At the same time, the article describes how the principles of openness and freedom, pluralism, and openness in matters of power and society allow civil society to develop.
