Abstract

Since the independence of the five Central Asian republics, both Russia and China have actively promoted their agenda and pursued their foreign policy goals in this region, which has led to growing rivalry between these countries. The aim of this article is to study the dynamics of relations between China and Russia in Central Asia and try to identify areas of convergence and divergence of their strategies. In this article, the authors attempt to analyze the developing dynamics of relations between China and Russia in Central Asia, highlighting points of convergence and divergences and exploring their implications for regional stability and security in the region. Focusing on the implications of the presence of China and Russia in Central Asia for regional stability and security, this study uses a comprehensive analysis of political, economic and security aspects. Through an examination of historical background, regional policies, and case studies, this article provides valuable insights into the evolving relationship between China, Russia, and Central Asia.
