Abstract

The article is aimed at studying the formation and evolution of transport policy in Central Asia and Russia. The study provides an analysis of the functions of individual transport corridors, which are the result of a single transport system with a unified history of development. The study used historical and comparative methods. As a result, the transit policy of national states in the era of globalization was modernized, became an open door policy and determined the key role of logistics in the economic development of the country. The main attention was paid to the prospects of transport potential development, which depends on global, regional, interregional and national interests. Proposals were made on obtaining foreign investments, increasing the number of jobs and intensive development will contribute to the formation of infrastructure that serves the transport highway.
